Värtan Energi has established an endowment fund that is administered by the Swedish bank SEB and its asset management unit.

The purpose of the fund is to enable donors to make perpetual donations by ensuring that the capital amount will always remain intact in real terms. Only a portion of the real return generated during the previous calendar year may be used to promote the development of Värtan Energi’s operations.

The statutes for Värtan Energi’s Donation Fund can be obtained by emailing donationsfond@vartanenergi.se. Supervisory bodies are Värtan Energi’s independent chartered accountant and SEB’s lawyers.

A donor can specify own rules for a donation, for example that the return should be used for a specific purpose or a specific geographical area.
